If residents keep chasing updates about repairs, payments or decisions, the committee may need to review how the block is managed. These are signs of service quality, not tests of compliance with the Condominium Act (Cap. 398). The committee can review its administrator, service agreement and how issues are handled.

Repairs Have No Clear Next Step

If a repair is delayed, residents should be told whether it is waiting for a quote, approval, contractor access or completion. BLOKKA's Tasks area lets the administrator record the issue, add updates and attach related documents so the committee can see what is happening.

When reporting a problem in a common area, include a photo where practical. It can give the contractor a useful reference when assessing the issue. If the same problems keep returning, the committee may need to review how maintenance is being coordinated.

Contributions and Accounts Are Hard to Follow

Residents need to understand what they have been asked to contribute, what they have paid and what remains due. BLOKKA's Payments area records balances and payment history; its Block Financials report summarises transactions entered in the portal and can be generated at any time. The Condominium Act (Cap. 398) requires the administrator to render accounts at the intervals set by the meeting or the condominium rules. The report helps the committee review the figures, but does not replace those accounts.

Meetings Do Not Lead to Clear Decisions

If the same issue returns at each meeting, it may not be clear what was decided or what information is still needed. Repeated deferral can leave necessary work unresolved and frustrate residents.

A practical follow-up is to record the decision, the person responsible for the next step and a target date in the minutes. At the next meeting, the committee can check progress and note any reason for a delay. This makes it easier to explain the position to residents between meetings.

Residents Struggle to Get an Update

When enquiries go unanswered, residents do not know who to contact or what happens next. BLOKKA's management service gives residents a point of contact for routine questions and maintenance requests. The committee remains responsible for its decisions. If communication stays poor, the committee can review whether its current arrangement is working.
